This seat kit replaces the original Vantage seats with a Recaro Pole Position shell, offering a significantly lighter, more supportive and safety-focused driving position. Compared to the factory seats, including OEM carbon options, the reduction in weight is substantial due to the removal of electric motors and associated hardware.
Despite the more focused design, customer feedback has consistently highlighted improved comfort on long journeys compared to the standard seats, particularly in terms of support and driving posture. The seating position provides increased headroom and a more controlled, upright driving position, allowing helmet use where headroom with OEM seats can otherwise be restrictive.
Each seat is custom trimmed to order, allowing full flexibility in colour, material and stitching combinations. OEM Aston Martin seat badges can be retained, and embroidered or embossed logos are included as standard. Bespoke embossed logo tooling can be produced on request, subject to additional cost. Seats can be specified with or without harness holes; as factory seats do not offer this, this represents a useful advantage for track-oriented builds.
The kit is supplied complete with manual seat rails, side mounts, seat belt brackets, seat resistors and a hip cut-out to accommodate the original seat belt latch, ensuring correct belt routing and integration. Harnesses are not included and can be specified separately.
TÜV approval is available via Einzelabnahme. Vehicles originally supplied for the US market will require coding to deactivate the occupant weight sensing system.
