This two-piece rear brake disc conversion uses the same disc ring quality and engineering standards found in our performance brake disc rings, developed for demanding road and track use. The directionally vented disc rings are manufactured to the same specification as those proven on Vantage GT4 race cars in endurance competition, including Nürburgring 24 Hours and VLN events.
Moving to a two-piece design brings clear functional advantages over the original one-piece rear discs. Each assembly is approximately 2.1 kg lighter per side, significantly reducing unsprung mass. This improves suspension response and ride control, while also reducing thermal transfer into the hub and wheel bearing. Under repeated heavy braking, the floating interface allows the disc ring to expand correctly, helping to maintain stability and reduce the risk of distortion.
Cooling performance is improved through directional internal venting, aiding temperature control during sustained track use and helping maintain consistent rear brake performance over longer sessions. As with the front disc rings, this conversion is not comparable to many aftermarket options intended for light track use, but is engineered to withstand prolonged high temperatures and racing conditions.
The conversion is supplied as a complete assembly with disc rings, aluminium bells and bobbins, and is designed as a direct replacement with no vehicle modification required.
A considered upgrade for drivers looking to reduce unsprung weight and improve rear brake durability while retaining OEM-level fitment and long-term reliability.
